Connecting The Dots: Oregon Democrats John Kitzhaber And Kate Brown Share Much In Common

George_Soros_-_World_Economic_Forum_Annual_Meeting_Davos_2010

As Democratic Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber’s announced resignation approaches – set for 10am on Wednesday, February 18 – it’s time to examine his successor. Democratic Secretary of State Kate Brown, by all appearances, is further to the Left politically than even Kitzhaber was. She also enjoys some of the same liberal billionaire connections that Kitzhaber […]

BOMBSHELL – Kitzhaber Lied In His Press Conference Jan 30, 2015

John_Kitzhaber_2010

In an extraordinary press conference on Friday, January 30, Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber addressed concerns about his fiancee Cylvia Hayes and her tax returns, and whether there were lapses in reporting of income under Oregon ethics laws. Financial disclosure forms require the reporting of all household income to the Oregon Ethics Commission. Allegations of impropriety […]

Oregon HB 2306 Aims To Undermine Political Parties In Oregon

Oregon_voter_pamphlet

I do not think it wise to pass HB 2306 for a number of reasons. My understanding is that the effect of this bill will designate all county and city elections as nonpartisan across the entire state, and that it will eliminate the ability of the precinct committee persons in a district to submit suggestions for replacement office holders in the case of a vacancy in local public office.

Oregon To Give Drivers Licenses To Illegal Immigrants

8900_10151207979813581_547428277_n1

What they fail to mention: in the state of Oregon, one can register to vote on the same form used to apply for a driver’s license, and their citizenship is never checked. Granting drivers licenses to illegals paves the way for MASSIVE voter fraud in the next election (like Oregon wasn’t rife with it already). […]

How Political Consultants Took Republicans To The Cleaners In 2012

Rush Limbaugh: The GOP Consultant Class Blames Me, Part I View on YouTube    Part II    Part III This is an enormous problem not just nationally, but here in the State of Oregon, as well. It doesn’t matter whether the candidates win or lose…the consultants still make money.   In fact, they make more when […]

Rampant Voter Fraud Leads To Questions Of Stolen Election

I still don’t know what to make of this.   There’s no evidence that it occurred on a nationwide scale…only a few precincts.  Still, many of those precincts are the most crucial in the country, and the Obama campaign knew that. Pundit Press points out the major irregularities in Ohio: I can’t believe President Obama’s luck. […]

I am proud and humbled to celebrate the first anniversary of this blog. It has evolved quite a bit in its first year. I am most proud of the contributors who have agreed to post their stories at 54°40’ Or Fight! We now have 21 active contributors from around the State of Oregon. Several veteran […]

Reports Of Poll Workers Violating Election Law, Voter Fraud Continue

philly_mural2

The Democrats’ attempt to steal the election is already well underway. Project Veritas caught this image inside an undisclosed polling place: James O’Keefe writes: Notice anything strange? What is a uniformed law enforcement officer doing standing next to a large color photograph of President Obama? Not enforcing the law, that’s what. It’s illegal to promote any candidate or measure within […]

Have Faith

Have Faith

Today is Election Day! A day to exercise out patriotic and civil duty, a day to remember the past while we decide the future. It’s also a day to have some faith. But doesn’t mean staying at home and “having faith” things will all work out. Faith is putting action to your belief. Take a […]

Oregon Tea Party Challenges Media Blackout On Benghazi #7HoursOfHell

1RegGuard

On November 3rd, the Oregon Tea Party Freedom Bus brought volunteers to the offices of The Register-Guard in Eugene, bringing attention to the mainstream media’s dereliction of duty by refusing to report on this administration’s scandalous handling of the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, just before a major election where Americans must decide whether this […]

Media Continues To Cover For Obama On Benghazi

The lack of interest from the media in this scandal is completely unprofessional, as far as I’m concerned.   REAL reporters don’t avoid reporting stories that hurt their favorite candidate just before an election. If a Republican president had watched Americans die via live feed from the situation room and not lifted a finger to […]

Union Sends Intimidation Letter To Oregon Voters

AFL-CIO

Unfortunately, unions in Oregon have a history of thuggish behavior like this.   They’re terrified of a Wisconsin-like Scott Walker moment that would threaten their stranglehold on the purse strings and power in this state. Breitbart reports: Voters in Oregon are receiving a mailer from the AFL-CIO that could imply their votes in the upcoming […]

Obama Campaign Illegally Accepts Donations From Foreign Countries, Bogus Zip Codes

If the Romney campaign flagrantly violated the law in this manner, I can guarantee the Justice Department would be all over it, and it would be front page news for a week.   But if a Democrat does it, they shrug their shoulders and look the other way. The New York Post reports: The Obama […]

Texas Threatens To Arrest U.N. Election ‘Observers’, U.N. Throws Fit

You can always count on Texas to step up to the plate when state sovereignty is at stake. Kathleen McKinley reports at the Houston Chronicle: A U.N.-affiliated group called OSCE says it intends to send observers from other countries to observe our elections here in Texas. Yes, you read that right. A UN group is […]

  • Capital budget’s impact on school construction funding July 21, 2017
The third special session ended yesterday without the passage of the $4.2 billion capital budget. Legislators were unable to agree on a water-rights bill to address the Supreme Court’s Hirst decision, an issue rural representatives had tried to raise repeatedly throughout the session. “We’ve never seen anything like this before, but the stakes have never […]
  • Ranker: Unconscionable that Senate Republicans blocked vote on capital budget July 21, 2017
Sen. Kevin Ranker, D-Orcas Island, released this statement after Senate Republicans refused to allow a vote on the state capital budget: It is incredibly unfortunate that on the final day of the special legislative session, the Senate Republicans placed their political agenda ahead of the wellbeing of our children, mentally ill, homeless, and public and […]
  • Capital budget, Ryan Calkins, #dadhacks July 20, 2017
With luck, today will be the last day of the 2017 legislative session, giving us a whopping 12 days before the August primary.  We’ve got a few data points for you, both qualitative and quantitative, on the session and the ballot box in this edition of the Morning Wire. As always, thanks for reading our […]
  • “Stability” Is Another Word for “Lack of Accountability” July 22, 2017
A bill in the California legislature would give Caltrain, the commuter trains that connect San Jose with San Francisco, “permanent financial stability.” That’s good news if you think you will be riding Caltrains one thousand years from now, but it’s bad news for the taxpayers who will have to “permanently”–however long that is–pay for running […]
  • HUD Backs Off on Housing Mandate July 21, 2017
In a case with national ramifications, the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) has effectively given up on its efforts to impose high-density housing on low-density suburbs in the name of racial integration. HUD had ordered Westchester County, New York, to build low-income housing in response to claims that county zoning led to segregated […]
  • Will Miami Settle for Modern Transportation? July 20, 2017
“Can Miami afford more rail?” asks the Miami Herald. “Or will it settle for buses?” That’s like asking if you can afford an IBM 700 mainframe computer from the 1950s or if you will settle for a MacBook Pro. Both buses and laptop computers are far less expensive than rails and mainframes, but the former […]
