There’s an interesting confluence of headlines on the Drudge Report this morning, starting with this one: “Global Warming stopped 16 years ago.”
Now that’s an inconvenient truth to Al Gore, whose movie came six years ago.
Especially when you see the headline right below that one: “Antarctic Sea Ice Hits Record High.”
This news was, quote, “issued quietly on the internet, without any media fanfare”
Which contrasts with a report just six months ago that made headlines because it showed the earth did warm—as long as you stopped counting in 2010, which was a warm year.
Then there’s this headline: “Feds have 1,900 open cases on waste [and], fraud of taxpayer stimulus cash…”
I wonder how many of those are “green” projects that were prioritized due to false beliefs about global warming?
Followed by this headline: “Less Than Quarter of Americans Read Newspapers…” Hmm. Maybe they’re not reading newspapers because of cherry-picked stories about things like global warming.
And by the way, that link pointed to a CBS website. I guess the reason that made the news was because, well, it wasn’t printed in a newspaper.
