Debbie Blabberon Schultz has been yelping endlessly about Mittens’ offshore holdings – even after it was revealed that she has a number of them as well. She’s claimed he’s a “1 percenter” (wonder where she came up with thatphrase?), while claiming that she’s a middle-class American.
Whoops. Javier did some digging, and unearthed some astounding material: last month, she and the other four members of her family took a week-long Caribbean cruise. Nothing wrong with that; everybody needs some down-time now and again. Heck, just last week, we were staying at a resort on the central Oregon coast. Set us back about $600 for the week. But Debbie booked a suite for her family jaunt – to the tune of $33,151.65, taxes included.
How middle-class can you get?
But wait! There’s more:
In addition to her $410,000 home in Weston, Florida, it turns out that she has a pad in Newbury, New Hampshire that has not -until now (and involuntarily on her part) been disclosed. Value: a cool $503,400. Interestingly, as Shark observes,
Why was this not-so incidental piece of information ever discovered? Wasserman Schultz signs her name on legislative documents using “Debbie Wasserman Schultz,” but when she signs public records that require her legal signature, Wasserman Schultz signs her name “Deborah Schultz.”
Makes it easier to hide, apparently.
Having done a bit of research on my own, I can state definitively that I am not a blue-butted baboon – and Li’l Debbie is not a middle-class American.
